If I could think back about my dog’s first veterinarian visit I remember my mom and dad took my dog, Miles to the same veterinarian place that my very first dog, Rusty went to. Now my dog Miles is very hyper and barks when he first meets someone new.
When we pulled up to the veterinarian I remember instantly he started barking. We took him out on his leash and he was sniffing everything. Then once we got inside he still continued to bark but my dad had to tell him to stop. The vet took him in the back once we got all of the paperwork filled out and he checked him to make sure he was healthy. I remember my dog lunged at him and almost bit him which was worrying for the vet and my dad and I. After the vet was done we were able to go back home but we knew we needed to train him when he meets new people.
