While going on your walk outside have you ever seen a dog without their leash on? They are rooming around freely while you are walking, and you don’t know how friendly this dog is.
I fall on the side where you should have a leash on your dog always, except at dog parks. People have to understand that even though your dog listens to you and has gone through so much training, your dog is still capable of making a wrong decision sacrificing others lives. When your dog is off their leash they can come in contact with another human and who knows how they will react to a certain person. I understand if you go to a dog park where dogs are permitted to run free without their leash but when you just let your dog go at a park there are many precautions you will need to take.
