This storytime starts off with my dad leaving to go back to his hometown to see his mom who was sick. My dad is very close with my dog. I believe he sees my dad as an alpha in a way because he listens to him more than anyone else in our family.
My mom was in the backyard and she had to throw something away so she opened up the gate, not thinking that my dog was back there with her and he ran off. I was in my kitchen watching YouTube and all of a sudden I heard my mom yell my name. I ran outside and ran out the gate and saw my dog running down the street. I took after him while my mom got into her car and drove down to where I was. I stopped and started to pet my dog on the sidewalk and try to calm him down. A cop ended up coming around the corner and he had a taser in his hand. My mom explained to the officer what had happened. He tried to help but eventually my dog got back into the car and we drove home.
