My very first dog that I had in my family was a Golden Retriever. His name was Rusty. My mom and dad got him when I was really young and he stayed in our lives until I was nine or ten. I remember he was super mellow and he barely barked.

This storytime starts off with my dad leaving to go back to his hometown to see his mom who was sick. My dad is very close with my dog. I believe he sees my dad as an alpha in a way because he listens to him more than anyone else in our family.

If I could think back about my dog’s first veterinarian visit I remember my mom and dad took my dog, Miles to the same veterinarian place that my very first dog, Rusty went to. Now my dog Miles is very hyper and barks when he first meets someone new.

This is one of my favorite pictures I have taken of my dog Miles. I love this photo because you could see how bright it was outside by the sun shining. I edited the photo to add saturation to the picture which made his stand out vibrantly.
